Special Olympics Hawaii athletes are gearing up to score goals and perfect their bocce rolls at the 29th Annual Aukake Classic taking place August 17-18, 2024 at Waiau District Park in Pearl City. The two-day event will bring together around 400 athletes and coaches from across the state to compete in a multi-division five-a-side soccer tournament, individual skills soccer competition, and traditional and Unified bocce doubles tournaments.

Athletes have trained from June to participate in area and regional competitions to qualify for the event. The Aukake Classic is one of three state competitions that Special Olympics Hawaii holds each year and is sure to be a thrilling conclusion to the season. Below is this year’s Aukake Classic schedule:

Saturday, August 17, 2024
10:15 a.m. Opening Ceremonies
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Soccer Individual Skills Competition 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Traditional Bocce
11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Five-a-Side Soccer

Sunday, August 18, 2024
9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Unified® Bocce 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Soccer
